Random problems but might have one fix, HELP!!!

So I have read a few things that say changing the ignition switch will fix these electrical problems I'm having with my 2000 Monte Carlo SS. Any truth to this? The problems are:

No air blowing out of vents (on any speed 1-5) but a little warm air seeps out of the dash defrosters.

My Overhead display turns on and off whenever it wants. Sometimes won't even turn on.

Cruise Control light is on my steering wheel and even sometimes on the dash display but it does not work.

The key can be pulled out while driving and still run.

Any suggestions would help!

The blower fan speed control...
Needs a new blower fan resistor.

Im sure some other members will chime in for fixes on the other issues...

There is a recall on the ignitions...
Not sure of yours falls into the recall.. but quite possibly could be the reason at least partially why you can remove the keys while its running...:)

i replaced the ignition switch on mine because like yourself my cruise would flash randomly and won't turn on, the display on the roof wouldn't turn on or would turn on after a good 10+ miles. my heated seats would stay on at all times no matter what position it was in, and my ac blower motor wouldn't kick on at level 5 unless you wiggled the knob back and forth a bit as well as the light on the driver side temperature lever is out. Nothing changed when i replaced it so know im going to my local junk yard and find a HVAC control assembly to see if that has any effect.

oh and i thought it might have been because RC Wiley installed a subwoofer interface using the rear speakers as a signal and they tapped into a brown (what looks like 14 gauge) wire for its power, do you have the stock radio currently? or have wired for subwoofers?
