Pressure for A/C refrigerant
Hi all,
I'm trying to find the low-side/high-side pressure for a 1996 Monte Carlo 3.4L. If possible by temperature. I've looked all over the web with no luck and the Chilton manual is a bust. If anyone happens to know I would be much appreciative. Btw, I'm universal certified if that matters to you. Best Regards, Scott |
I think there is a label in the engine bay that gives the pressure for the ac system.

HI Scott:
Welcome to the forum... Lots of Great Info and members here! As a 5th Gen owner myself... I believe the High side pressure should read 4.9 lbs... at least that's what mine was the last time I had it recharged. I honestly do not know what the LO side should read.. as we completely pumped my system out and started from scratch when we refilled the system. Now.. It will freeze you out...lol Pls join the conversation in the members daily blog! Come say hi or just see what other members are up to each day! Thanks for joining the MCF Family! Don't forget to post some pics of your Monte Carlo when your able! Keep us posted on what you find out so that other members may need the same info as well! Hope this helps... As I am sure other members will chime in with more info/ideas to help you out! |
Hi!
The low side is between 25-40psi with ac on and engine running! |
