Monte Carlo LT 2006 Black

I'm getting water trapped in the surfboard style spoiler when hosing off or washing the car. It will continue to drip out for a few days when you open the trunk or close the trunk, since the semi slamming of the trunk spews out some water. Any one have the same problem? Also, does any one have a seemingly warped dashboard that's separating from above the passenger side airbag to the left where it comes to like a point? Any solutions to these two issues would be appreciated.

There should be like a rubber washer/seal on each of the mounting bolts for the spoiler.. They most likely have rotted OR the spoiler itself is just so old it may have developed a crack somewhere and you cant see it. Probably the first one tho..

As for it seperating, you should just be able to tighten it back down.. Should be able to...

You might as well remove it and get a new one or put the nascar style spoiler while you're at it if it's a crack and not a loose or corroded bolt

There would be holes left over from the surfboard style spoiler that the nascar one wouldnt cover up.. Youd have to go with a whole new trunk lid..
