Landau Top Removal
 

Does anybody know how the rear quarter window trim fits after removal of the landau (vinyl) top. Can I reuse the existing trim or will it fit incorrectly due to the extra thickness of the top?

should fit the same on that year as with it . they top should not actually go under the drip rail or the 1/4 trim it should only but up to it.

But taking those tops off is nto afun job. they are glued in to place and also have the rivets acrossed the top of the car to hold on the trim so wyou will need to pull the top off then grin those down and fill it in to mak eit smooth agian.

but the trim on cars with or with out should be the same for around the windows.

yeah then they should be the same for trim with or with out the top on it
other then the one acrossed the top of the car that one is only there for the cars with the tops that i have seen

But if you can handel the body work dont worry about it they are not hard to remove those are only spot welded on . and break off easily. just becarfule not to bend the metal on the car doing it. I would sujest a dremel tool to cut them off as close as you can then grind the rest down and make it smooth
