Key fob

So my key fob or keyless entry pad stopped working today. I replaced the battery and it still doesn't work. Any suggestions?

I had that happen on my key fob when I first got the car and the battery was brand new. One of the metal prongs on the inside of the FOB was not making complete contact with the little electronic board on the inside so I soldered it where there was a loose area and it has been working ever since.

Thanks Barb I'll look at that my mom's bf has a soldering machine.

Just be VERY careful because the metal is almost paper thin

It looks like that may be my problem. One of the metal prongs that holds the battery looks to be loose and sticks up above the battery while the other side has the prong flush with the battery.
