intermediate steering shaft

I have a 2000 monte carlo ss. The intermediate steering shaft has been replaced 5 times since new.
Is there anyone else?

Oh yeah, the ISS is and has been a big PITA for GM. I have a 2003, had it replaced around 20K and I have the problems again at 46K....

Did you ask to get the parts back each and every time? Sometime the quick and dirty fix is a lube job.

GM trucks are even worse off than the Monte!!
