well it depends on what you know how to do.....u need to take the switch out, and the take it apart, you will see the bulb with a blue plastic cover. U have to un solder it and solder in a new one....good luck, i converted all my locks and window switch lights to blue LEDs, it was a task.

Weizie, where can I get the LED's to put in my lock and window switches? Do you know what LED's go inside the instrument cluster. I want to change all my interior lights to blue. thanks for your help

The dash lights are 194 IIRC. Just go to a parts store and buy some blue 194 halogens. I tried the led thing... it'll definately be easier to do that or buy some 12V leds.

and if that is how urs are you are very lucky. i have a 2005 and the gauge lights are small bulbs that are soldered into the board. so i have to unsolder them and solder in new LEDs, its a pain. but it looks great, i should be finishing my gauges with in 2 weeks and ill put up some pics for a tutorial along with the rest of the switches and AC controls.

Wezie, I finished my LED upgrade on my instrument cluster, HVAC controls, side mirrors switch. I am now trying to do the window switch. My question to you is HOW THE F*** DO I TAKE THIS APART :) I've unsoldered the top circuit board to find another circuit board underneath. How do I get this one out? GM paid a team of engineers way to much money to design a switch.
