Transmission slipping?

Why are you running 93 octane in your 3.8?? No need for that and it wont improve performance....just wasting your money on the gas....3.8 runs fine on regular 87 octane which it was designed for if your read your owners manual.

no no slipping thank god, i cleaned the maf last week ill do the wires and plugs next, ive been hearing about how much of a pain they are to change the 3 in the back

They're not that bad. People should stop exaggerating lol

The first time I changed my plugs and wires I unbolted the motor mounts to shift the engine forward to better access the rear three (as something like a Haynes manual will tell you to do). The 2nd time I did not and actually found it to be easier. Just be patient and it wont be so bad.

I guess you aren't throwing any codes? Sounds like an early MAF sensor failure. That sounds like the issue with mine, doesn't feel quite like a full-on misfire but like a cylinder or two isn't giving all its got?

That's true- In fact I think the only engine that requires 93 octane is the Supercharged 3.8.
