You have the 3800 engine right? IDK how your car could not have a MAF since it sits in the throttle body.

The car would still run without a MAF, but it would run very rich. But if the sensor is just... not there, then you would have a huge vacuum leak at the TB.

yes I have 3800..its been running horrible ever since I got it almost a year ago..I keep dumping money into it but being a woman guys like to screw me over /rip me off. so after $600+ I've been trying to figure it out myself. the video above does no justice the entire car will shake and sputter if I'm driving or not driving, highway or in town.. I'll try to put a picture up if I can

My '03 did the high idle thing also, and the awesome peeps here helped me with the IAC and I cleaned it and it was fixed ! thank you again everybody!! clean your MAF and replace your PCV also ?
