or to control the sensors

Not really certain what you are asking for? Is your abs acting up. If so it is probably the wheel speed sensors that are the culprit. The easiest fix is to replace the wheel bearings which will usually turn off the light. If you car is throwing a code and you can get someone to read the code for you, you could post the code so that we could help you more?

Usually the ABS light means you need a new wheel bearing/hub. Maybe two. Check the wiring for obvious signs of damage.

Ya normally it's a new wheel bearing, the problem is without being able to read the code you have a 1 in 4 chance of getting the right wheel bearing. But when replacing wheel bearings it is always best to do both at the same time, before changing the bearings definitely give the wiring a once over especially along the frame as the wires get old and brittle and break. So without knowing which one is bad, I would change the front two bearings first, Here is a link on a write up on how to change the bearings yourself if you have the ability to do it

I would check the wheel speed sensor first. Wheel bearing will start to make a squealing and eventually grinding sound. If all is quiet then it's probably your wheel speed sensors. Could save you a lot on money, just buy what you need.

When I had the issue, I first asked the mechanic to check for shorts in the abs or traction control wiring. This turned out to be a $150 fix! Much better than what others told me-- some suggested the ECM was bad, or speed sensors. Of course, these are possibilities, but more often than not, what seepage causes a short in the wiring harness for the ABS system or traction control system.

It's worth a shot. And it's definitely the most economical way to go.

Fixed my wiring a year ago, and had no problems since!
