Heater Problems in an 06 Monte
When I wake for work in the morning, I use the remote start to warm up the car while I get on my winter attire to go outside and go to work. I let the car run for about 10 minutes before getting into it.
I turn the key to the on position, wait a few seconds, turn the heater on and drive away. The heater isnt blowing out any heat unless I rev the engine over 2k.When I get out of my neighborhood, things start working better. When I hit a stop light, the ehater blows out nothing but cold air until I start moving again. What could cause this? Thermostat, hoses? Heater coil? The car is only 2 years old with 32k on it. |

thats wierd.
the only thing that i can think of is a bubble in ur cooling system. maby take it to a shop and have them do a pressure test. |

RE: Heater Problems in an 06 Monte
Check coolant level. If low top off the coolant
Pressure check the cooling system and find the leak and repair it No heat from the heater is because the coolant is to low..... By chance did the check engine light come on at all? |
RE: Heater Problems in an 06 Monte
its mos def the low coolant problem. I had the same problem, but the coolantrefill fixes it
