Halo Headlights for an 07

I've been wondering how the Halo headlights are on the new monte carlo... ive seen them on the car in pictures and they look really good... i was talkin to a guy in a shop and he said that most of the halo headlights he puts in cars turn out bad, but hes never worked ona a monte carlo... i was wondering if anyone has the halo headlights for their 06 or 07 monte carlo? and if so how are they working out? can you see the lights good? thank you

I've got Halo headlights in my 06 monte. Lows and Highs. I wouldn't recommend getting them. They look cool and help a little bit but burn out right away. I've had one of my high beams burn out twice now and I dont feel like having to ship both of my high beams back to the guy I bought them from on eBay just to have the problem again. I'm putting my stock lights back in until I can find a different kind that I really like. I just have no clue what else works really good for our cars.

Do the halos not use the stock bulbs? always wondered

No real problems with mine yet. I'm pretty sure they're different than the stock bulbs too.

Oh I didn't mean what bulbs the halos use, but what do the projectors use? stock bulb or do they come with something else?

Here's what my halo's look like. They are all 7500K, Platinum White. The lows work and only one high beam cuz the highs keep burning out on me for some reason. I got em on ebay. Im done trying to find the best Halogen bulb so I'm going to get real HID's pretty soon. I'll keep the Halo low beams in and use HID high beams.

I've had mine almost a year, got them last August. Got them from eBay aswell.

Pretty sure the projectors themselves have a different sized bulb, I'll have to do some digging but I'll see if I can't find out the different sizes.

S_DAHM,
I'm pretty sure he isn't talking about those Xenon Halogen bulbs. He means the actual projector headlights with the halo's that can be found on ebay for $300.

I'd love to get a set of those, but I can't save up $300 for them. I can find a lot of other things to waste/spend my money on right now.

And I want to say that they use a size H3 Halogen bulb in the projectors.

I have had mine for a while now, with no trouble. They are an improvement over stock on brightness and the cut-off of the projectors is very cool. Got mine on ebay as well and the bulbs for the projectors are h3's.
