Hello folks!! I really could use your help here. I have a 2000 Monte Carlo SS and just replaced the intake gaskets on her. After reinstalling everything I noticed I have a two wire electrical plug that is on the passenger side near the firewall that I cannot find the other plug it connects to. Well I thought it may have never been connected to anything before so I decided to run the car in the garage to make sure everything is good. Well the trans is in limp mode(check engine kicked on ) and it is stuck in 2nd or 3rd. Shifted great before the intake repair. Where the hell does that plug into? It has a pink and beige or brown wire. Please help...I want to go driving!

 

I think that wire plugs into the tail of the transmission
