Dropping in New 3.8 liter motor

I have a 2001 monte Carlo ss 3.8 liter motor is there a certain way to drop the engine in the car because I tried to go straight down but it doesn't seen to go in that way?

The engine will come out the top without any issues. You don't need to pull the hood , just remove shocks from hood and put a stick in place to hold hood up straight. Also put a jack under the transmission pan to support it when the motor is removed. Good luck

Well I'm currently at a stand still right now because I can't seem to get the engine to line up with torch converter do that's were in at with it as of right now

Agreed, the engine should come straight out no issues. Even the engine + trans will come out the top together if you tilt it.

As far as getting them mated, is your trans in or out of the car? I like it out better so it's easier to maneuver then I just bolt the converter on via the inspection cover hole after I've dropped it in.
