Default Deflector under radiator

2000 ss, My deflector is missing, a good reason why the previous owner reported overheating. I have 2 bolts that were probably there for attachment, but nothing in the middle. Can someone please take a pic of the middle to give me an idea if other bits are missing. Thank you.

My son's 2004 LS has nothing below the the lower rad support and / or behind the lower edge of the fascia. Had it a week.
Looks like there is supposed to be stuff there. Only thing there is a plug in wire connector dangling....
Think it got left on one of those parking lot concrete front bump stops by the PO.
Any clues??

Your correct, if the "Air damn" is missing it will cause your car to overheat. Nice catch...

Lol idk since mine is missing...

Dont mean to hijack your thread, but we seem to have the same dilemma...

Could someone post a pic?
here is the pic of my damaged fascia and the open void underneath, and unknown connector:

I bought my air deflector from a gm dealer in texas for $72.00 shipped. Yep, it is that part that scrapes on inclines, but is necessary to scoop air into the radiator that would otherwise run under the car. No worries about hijacking anything, as long as we all learn something.
