Default cigarette lighter

awhile ago i noticed my cigarette lighter quit working. i checked the fuse and it's good and also the rear one works. there's no coins stuck in there. would it of just gone bad and need replacing?

i've got the same problem, I swaped it with one from a Junk Yard and that didn't work. So wither the one from the yard was bad too or something else is the problem. I have to double check, but I thought I had power going to the lighter, just the element went bad., but it's been a while so I have to just double check it. My guess is that the element has gone bad.

Same problem here. I never think to replace it considering that i never have anything plugged into either one. On the rare occasion that I do, the rear one works just fine.

I think it's strange how so many people are reporting the same problem.
I ought to go check mine in the morning. I haven't used it yet. It might not work.
