Does anybody know why my windows are rolling down and up really slow j can seem to figure it out why do u guys think might cause this

Does the passenger side window only roll down slow when controlled by the driver door, or does it go down slow when also controlled by the passenger switch?

Is your voltage gauge moving down when you use the windows?

Hi Raspberry, I suggest getting a professional to check it out if you are not familar with electrical problems...Your Monte is just about 27 years old and if they are the factory window motors (?), they are most likely wore out from age/use.

You need someone with testing equipment to determine `if you have a short somewhere ? You might have to replace your window motors, & have your switches checked..
Good Luck

grease the tracks i have issues with it but be warned wd40 wears out quick have your mechanic use professional grade grease you'll be all set. its the fact that the felt in the window track wears down to the rubber beneath over time leading to more friction.

Sweet I'm goin to have a guy come test the power and see how that turns out but while I waite till he come Imma try looking for some grease to see if that makes a different but ever since the rear of my car cought fire it seems like all my electrical is shorting out or just not the same as before... does anybody know how many fuse boxes are in the car and where there located???? I know where one is under the driver dash but is there more???

Yes, your fuse box in on the driver side under your dash & there should be a diagram on the lid that you remove.

Happy to read that you have someone coming over to test your electric currents...Good Luck

Thanks your very much.... yes I seen it and it doesn't have a lid but it tells you what is what and the fuse box and also the chime in my car where the key is in is very low wonder why
