A/C Woes

So on my '99 Z34 the A/C doesn't work. Which is a HUGE problem, except when I want to drive on the highway and don't want the windows down. lol. I'm told that the compressor isn't kicking in at all---could that be just the clutch, or the whole compressor and clutch?

You could have a microscopic leak and all the coolant pressure is gone. Gotta take it to a mechanic to do a system test.

Hey Ryan, one thing ya can do is look at the schrader valves where the A/C is serviced. Sometimes the valves back out a little and will leak out the refrigerant. Look and see if it`s oily in these areas. If so take a schrader valve tool and tighten them. But being it`s not coming on you probably need it evacuated and reserviced to get out the moisture.
