I've heard a lot of good things about the optima batteries. The cost is a little higher but it should be worth it.Just don't cheap out an buy a for $30-50 at wally world they don't last too long.

Yeah, the Optima appears to be the best one on the market but it, is, a pretty expensive battery.

I got the titanium one from advanced auto about 2 years ago. Its about 90-100 and I haven't had any issues. I've ran it dead, unhooked it and hooked it back up a million times, had a charger on it at 200 amps, still works like a champ.

The optima batters are great, but you can buy a good battery for half the price.

I honestly have heard a lot of problems with the Optima in these cars. After 6 months, dead. But I believe that is just the red tops, the yellow seems to fair a little better.

I would say DieHard or Interstate make great replacements.

I decided to go with the Die Hard. I've always had good luck with these batteries. The Optima looks great and appears to a good battery but just way too expensive right now.
Thanks for your suggestions.

Die hard makes a good product. I had one in my old truck that wasn't driven regularly and would set for a month or more and it would turn it over every time. Even in the dead of winter.
