Any recommended fuel pumps

Hey all been awhile since i needed to do a repair.

Car decided to die one evening coming back from work, eventually restarted and limped to a place to park. Came back the next day and it ran for 5 minutes or so at idle, battery was good, alternator was good, key on ignition off pressure was 55 started to drive home and it died in 200 feet. Towed it back, ran some more tests.

Fuel pressure 55psi key on ignition off
psi with engine running 48
Psi 1' after engine tuned off goes down to 45psi
PSI 5' after engine off is 35psi
Remove vaccum form Fuel pressure regulator 48psi running, jumped to 58psi

Slight odor of fuel from vaccum line of FPR but no wetness. I started idled car and idled for 15' after charging the battery to 100%, idled fine did some revving to 2500rmp which would drop the fuel pressure 3-4psi, which I believe is expected. Easiest thing to change is FPR so I swapped it out with ACDELCO 2173072. More of a pain than I thought to get the snap ring on. Now PSI key on ignition off drops from 55psi to 30psi really quickly. So either my fuel pump is going, or my FPR out of the box is bad. Any thoughts?

Im looking for a good fuel pump, but looks like most new ones will require some rewiring which isn't a big deal to me.

Doing some more digging around it appears there was a second lower o-ring. I removed that so it wasn't double stacked but pressure still drops like a rock after key on. Putting the FRP on after getting that second o-ring off was super easy.
