Other than an issue with the supposedly "reusable" pan gasket the swap went REALLY well. Engine runs better with the large port 3100 pcm. Still messing with the crank sensor relearn tho...

Glad to hear the swap went over ok. Did the car have the original 4t60e in it? Sounds like its running good though. Crank sensor relearns can be a PITA keep us updated man!

Default hey

Yeah it had a 4t60 in it. Broken 1-2 accumulater spring, weak front pump, and a bad vaccum modulater it was time for it to go. Lol. Had to change the injector plugs and make an adapter harness for the wipers but its working good now. Gonna swap to an s/c 3.8 in the near future so now half the work is done

Time for the tired old 4t60 to take a hike! Glad to hear the new trans is in and working out for you. Swapping over to the s/c 3.8 aka L67 or L32 will be well worth the swap, you'll never look back.

And yeah my name is Ryan too, nice to meet ya man!

Unsure of brands. On the posi, it chirps a lil bit on tight turns and the wheel wont move when jacked up. On the shift kit, i was suspicsious of it when i pulled the tranny in the jy. I could tell it had been pulled and gone through before. The 01 monte ss it came from had less than 100k, glasspacks, jet tuner high sport ground effects, and nice ar aluminum 18s. It was a bbq special. My car now pulls harder than all the n/a 3.8 cars ive driven, even with the larger 3.8 torque converter im now running.
