I have a 1999 Chevy Monte Carlo had an accident the airbags deployed do they need to be replaced or reset odd the body shop worker report stolen practically I'm wondering if they could have still been in of use to me or not... today still have value to my car or do I need to purchase new ones entirely um they could have they weren't damage they could have been used again I thought least as far as I'm concerned any help with this question whether or not I was robbed or the gentleman did me a favor I would appreciate it thank you

Once the airbags deploys, it's done. You can get one from a junker if it hasn't deployed. That is usually what is ment by a used airbag.
It's not the bag itself, but the stuff that makes it go PUFF. Once that is used all you have left is a empty bag. If he got you a new or used one, he did you a favor! IMO!

Thanks guys. I was thinking i could reset them an i was mad thinking he took them without asking cause they were worth something but apparently they were useless so he did me a favor by removing them...thanks again guys.
