Unhappy just bought 2000 ss, alarm/horn no sound

Just bought a 2000 ss yesterday. Noticed the horn is not working when i push on horn or when i set alarm. I checked the horn fuse and its fine.
When i hit the alarm button on keychain the lights flash and i can hear the horn relay clicking but theres no audible sound from the horn at all.

Would somehow resetting the alarm fix this or does it sound like the actual horn itself has gone bad? Any other ideas?
thanks in advance!

If it's an aftermarket alarm, the potential exists that someone "cut" the horn lines and never put them back together.

Check the settings on your stereo.
I'm not sure, but I think you can turn the horn off aswell as the light delay... just something to think into.

Those settings would control a factory alarm/keyless entry (not sure if his is factory or aftermarket). But regardless, he states the horn does not work if he pushes the horn button on the steering wheel (between that and not working with the alarm, leads me to think the wire is severed/disconnected or as someone else stated, a possible problem with the horns).

Ah Ok, Maniac, reason why I posted I was thinking maybe the settings in the deck and aftermarket were someone off setting eachother, i didnt read where the steering wheel horn wasn't working.

yes... Its the factory alarm system, the horn fuse is good and i found one horn behind pass headlight and its connected, is other hoorn in same general location somewhere?
I bought it from a car lot so was wondering if it was disabled and just need to turn it back on or something?

I just dont see 2 factory horns failing to work so think the problem is elsewhere
