01 Monte SS, Headlight issue. Please Help

I've got an 2001 Monte Carlo SS and the other day i had an issue come up to where the headlights stay on constantly and only the drivers side gets full power. the passenger side headlight is stuck at half power and the daytime running lamps are on constantly. Also, apparently i have a high beam out. I cant figure out what the problem is. also, the bulbs i had in there when it happened were HID's and when i was taking those out i tried swapping them to see if it was the bulb. The one on the passenger side just flashed repeatitively and then when i went to take it out of the housing i got shocked. Ever since then i havnt been able to figure out whats wrong. I was thinking faulty wiring harness maybe? Not sure. any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

Check all the fuses (low beam left/right & high beam left/right) located in the upper fuse panel underhood on the passenger side inner fenderwell. Chances are one (or more) has blown.

Ill take a look at that tonight . Also, do the daytime running lamps stay on while your headlights are on? I always thought they turned off

Yes, the DRL should be off when the lights are on but I have seen a blown low beam fuse do some 'funny' things to the lights on these cars - including illuminating the DRL. ;)
