    no it was not a plug and play. the shifter i used isnt meant to be in the car. so your baisically treading new waters here. i didnt have to mess around with the trans in the sense of changing anything on it. Send me an email at

    That helps a lot man. Another quick question though, was the install a "plug and play" in the sense of making sure everything lines up and fits or did you need any aftermarket controllers for the trans? Looking forward to the walk through buddy!

    Hey man, just wondering how the Quicksilver ratchet shifter was working out for you. I'm looking to do something similar in my 5th gen. My question is how did you get past the push button to shift out of park? Also did you use the stock shifter cable or one that came with the shifter?
