I'm not 100% sure on this one. Is it still giving you problems? The 6th Gen Montes seem to have a reputation for electrical failure, usually confined to the gauge cluster but obviously there are other cases. It doesn't really sound like a fuse problem, but I would check all of your fuses for a start. Have you done any work on/under the dash recently? Check any loose wires for grounds. That's all I can think of from the top of my head, I'll give it some thought.
