WELL.....What did you buy your monte for? And year? :]

Just a fun game for the midwest, lets compare what we got our babies for with how many miles, year, and type of monte ( SS,LS, supercharged etc)..

Since im thread maker..I'll start !

2000 monte carlo SS, gave to for free by family with 100k miles.

2006 monte carlo LS, bought for 5.5k with 67k miles, now current w/ 87. Had for about a year now. =)

2000 Monte Carlo SS, custom ordered in Feb of 2000, picked up for $24,445 in April

Factory ordered mine in 1998, from Ed Rinke Chevrolet in CenterLine MI.
1999 Monte Carlo Z-34. Made in Canada...Was the first 1999 Z-34 in Michigan!...

Currently has a little over 160,000. As a recent amputee (above knee) Since I was recovering from a wreck that resulted in me becomeing an amputee..Its is an easy vehicle for me to enter and exit..Since the doors open wide.
Little did I know then, What a reliable vehicle it would turn out to be...
Since I knew I intended on keeping it til the wheels fell off.
I deceided then to add all the ground effects ,tint, sound system etc...

So, for a 13 yr old vehicle...Looks like I got my moneys worth!
I paid a littleover $27,000 for it from the dealer. (paid cash for it)

I'll play from the East Coast

Bought from an individual in the Jersey Shore area after viewing two ads in magazines in May 2012.

$4,000 for 2002 SS with 104,000 miles AND it had aftermarket rims/tires, resonator delete, aftermarket catalytic converter, chrome tips, red-painted brake calipers, cheap window guards I have since replaced, and like 10% tint on the rear windshield/windows. It also came with OEM wheels/tires.

Now with 111,000 miles.

I feel like the winner as far as value for quality/quantity goes, been waiting to brag about this fact for a while. :D
