The Meet will now be held this Sunday, October 21, 10am - 3pm (same location)

Michigan Monte Carlo Club will be back in Dexter for our 7th Annual Fall Meet, taking place on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Hudson Mills Metropark. Attendees are then welcome to join us for a scenic afternoon ‘cider run’ cruise to Spicer Orchards in Hartland for cider and donuts. First 15 Montes registered receive a dash plaque. People’s choice award for best Monte in attendance. Our Meets are family-friendly, free and open to all Monte Carlo owners - both members and non-members welcome. Park opens at 7:00 am for those wishing to arrive early – Meet starts at 10:00 am. Park daily entrance fee is $10 (unless you have a Huron-Clinton Metroparks annual permit). Some lodging options are listed below for out-of-towners needing it. If you plan to attend, please register!

Sounds like a cool event and the 3-1/2 hour drive is certainly doable.

I'll have to see how the family calendar looks a little closer to the gathering's date, if you guys allow folks from Ohio to cross the border.

Regarding your 'ps' comment, it might be because your post contains images and you're a very new member. I believe after five total posts or so that goes away.

That is quite possible.

I just didn't want to get off on the wrong foot with people, having them think I ignored the multiple directives to start a "New Member" thread before posting elsewhere.

Hopefully the mod or admin will approve that post later today as I'd hate to have to write that up again.

More info about our 'cider run' cruise - At 2:30 pm, for those interested, we will have our 'cider run' cruise up to Spicer Orchards in Hartland, about a 40 minute drive. Please advise we will most likely be parking in a grass parking area. Once there, those attending are welcome to check out the facility and then depart as they'd like.
