fuel filter replacement
 

im trying to replace the fuel filter and the nuts is kinks rusty and messed up a little and i'm wondering what size wrench it use's......is it a 17mm??

Can't you take your new filter and test fit a wrench to it? The other end has plastic clips on it. Hope this helped. Others will chime in when they sign on in the AM.

I would try what zippy recommended as well. Turbo Monte has all braided fuel lines so its completely different. When I pulled out the factory lines I didn't take much care with them and kinda just yanked them out lol

Hopefully someone will chime in with the correct size for you.

I could take line off but still need to hold the nut on other end that's on the line. I know what size the nut on filter is but don't help holding the one on the fuel line on the car

Are you able to get a crescent wrench on it? Or a set of Visegrips? Hopefully you can get an answer, I'm like TurboMonte, all braided lines totally different set up now... Sorry

why you need all steel braided lines?

where would be the best place to get the fuel filter bracket? used would be fine with me. i looked on ebay and nothing so far

Can not believe they didn't make the fuel filter and lines out of Stainless steel, the most important MAINTENANCE part under the car, it it always rusts out !... I'd have been more then happy to pay extra for stainless !... Pain in the ass......
