2006 montes rusting out
 

hello everyone,
please help me pass this along to anyone you may know who has a 2006/2007 monte carlo which is rusting in the rear quater panels. we have created this page to get everyone having the problem together to make gm fix their mistake. we are getting estimates of $4,000-$6,000 to fix their mess up in the wheelwells but the body shops are all telling us to get rid of the cars because financially they it is not worth it to fix them. we work too hard to keep our monte nice and have to get rid of them and take a loss because of a design flaw. information of the process and claim will be on the page. i liked your page, is there anything else i need to do? i can upload pics of my rust. i actually only have it on the passenger side because i got t boned on the drivers side about a year after i got it and its got a new quarter panel. that one hasnt rusted.... yet. it will be interesting to see if the one the body shop painted and installed lasts longer (for reference it was a gm panel they put on)
