Question for The Admin Guys

Hi Guys,
Have you ever considered creating an MCF App? Or maybe a link to the cell phones photo Gallery? Mosttimes whe I take picks its with my phone. And soon here, I am going to Upgrade to the Galaxy Note3. Now, whei go to add a pic to a post, I actually have to go onto my computer and load the photos to I before I can download then into the post. Its not hard to do. But its not real time. Sometimes it takes my old mind a couple of days to remember to do it! I think it woukld be easiee to have the photo downloader set up to ask if downloading from a CPU or a Mobile Device. IDK though cause I have no web developement skills. So is that Possible?

I think this has been discussed a couple of times and because of the low traffic to the site (compared to other sites) the site owners of said that development of a mobile application for MCF isn't within reason at the current point in time.

Thanks guys, it is just a curiosity. And as I said, I think it would be easier to set up the photo downloader to allow us to download photos from a desktop or a mobile device than to set up a mobile app. From an I.T. perspective. From a user stand point, the mobile apps from other websites are usually limited and not as easy to use anyway.
Example: I love using Firefox on my desktop. So when I found it had a mobile app. I emeediately downloaded it. The mobile app sucked. So I uninstalled it.
So maybe having the photo uploader allow uploads from a mobile device as well as a CPU?

Internet Brands has an iphone app for most of their forums. And MCF is part of their app. I have it on my iphone.

Search for "IB Automotive Group" in the itunes app store.

I believe Internet Brands is also working on an android version of the app also. Not sure if it's up and running yet though. If anyone has an android out there, check to see if it's available.

I don't think there's any plans for BlackBerry at this time. Considering the major re-structuring Blackberry is going through.

I've never "I"-ed anything except for my Tunes. I was a Cell Phone tech in a past life. Seen my share of problems with the Iphones, Windows phones and especially the Blackberries. I'm sure everyone has their preference. Mine is Andriod!

Just checked, the app is out on the android market

I'll check it out. But since I have unlimited Everything on my phone plane, data charges do not apply. I usemy phone for all my browsing. And MCF IS MY HOME SCREEN. I AM SO ADDICTED IT'S RECONCILIATION!

I use the Android app (converted for my BlackBerry Z10). It's a good app for mobile browsing. Pictures and stuff aren't the easiest thing with it, and viewing people's garages doesn't seem to be a function yet.

Though Lou and I are admins, we really can't do stuff like this for the forum. It is all up to the owners. We can merely post suggestions.
