Official NAME CHANGE THREAD!!!
So you already have an account here, but don't like the name. That's fine.
But did you know? You don't have to create a new account!
Before you go creating a new account, consider this:
-- A new account means your post count starts at zero, and your join date starts on that day. Making you look like a newbie.
-- Since you can only register once per email address, you'll have to provide a different email address to register your new account.
-- It also means you go back on "probation". What? Read this announcement (click here) Meaning you lose most of your forum priviledges. Like viewing pictures, posting pictures, access to the Classified Section, and access to PM. Just to name a few.
-- It violates one of our forum's rules about having multiple accounts.
If there's something you don't like about your existing account, we can help you in most situations. Changing settings and info and such is very easy. A moderator or myself will be more than happy to help you.
If you want to change your username, that's where an administrator comes in. Unfortunately, the moderators cannot change your username for you. However, myself or another administrator can change it for you!
If you want to change your username, you can either PM or email myself or another administrator. I can be emailed at mcftaz@gmail.com
Or let a moderator know, and they will pass it on to one of the admins.
The advantages of changing your name instead of creating a new account:
-- All of your previous posts will be automatically re-labelled with your new name. Showing new members how informative and friendly you are!
-- You'll keep things like: your post count, join date, email address, the PM's stored in your mailbox, and your forum access!
While we don't have a problem with people wanting to change their name. It's not something you should be doing on a regular basis. We will not keep changing your name every other day, week, month, you get the idea.
Thanks!
We appreciate your being a part of the MonteCarloForum!

yes. Anywhere you would have to type your username will change to the new one. If you selected to automatically log-in everytime you visit, you might need to clear the "cookies" on your computer. Then tell the forum to log you in automatically with your new name.
Your old username will be replaced on all of your posts, PM's, photo galleries, etc with your new name.
Anyone thinking about changing their username should choose wisely. As I said in the first post, we will not constantly change your username.
