Default Mobile broswer?

Has it been suggested before? I know I can be the only one that'd use it. A couple other forums have tapatalk installed, and it works great. Available for the major smartphone os's. Here's a link: wwww.tapatalk.com

From what i know about THIS forum is that even if its a great app, the owners wont bother with it.

Lets just say its all about politics.

I looked at the link you provided. As an iPhone user myself, I found it very interesting!

Unfortunately, if it involves the forum having to upload software/files into the forum's operating system, the owners (Internet Brands) won't do it. Internet Brands' servers were hit really hard by hackers and a virus a couple years ago. It required the complete rebuild of over 100 forums. Including ours. Ever since, they are EXTREMELY tight with keeping the servers safe and secure. To the point of paranoia.

The moderators and I have tried to get many things added to our forum that other forums have. But the owners have told us no.

I really appreciate the suggestion. It looks like a great app. But I'm at the low end of the Admin ladder. Even if I think it's a great idea, the higher ups make the final decisions on things like this.

Never hurts to ask. I can understand the bit on keeping it secure. But just think, when your lady friend drags you along to shop for clothes, you can post on the forum, lol.
