Gen 06 No start

I hate to even ask this, but someone may have run into this before. If I had a heated garage, rack and test light I could sort it out myself. So after getting my MC back from the shop it ran great for a few days. Then the next morning it would not crank. I decided to replace the battery since I did not know how old the other one was, and took this time to clean some rust off the battery tray and paint it, etc. As I was putting in the new battery I noticed the negative end was not really getting tight and thought I had found the problem. After replacing that I got in with great anticipation and nothing. Did the exact same thing. Headlights dim, interior lights dim, but not even a tick out of the starter. I went ahead and got a new one from Parts Geek (not bad, about $85, and it is for the Supercharged version) but have not installed it. Anyone have this issue and can point me in the right direction?

Ive had an issue with my 05 SS where the security acts up sometimes.. Just doesnt power the starter untill I turn the key several times.

If your headlights are dimming tho, sounds like a starter issue. Its putting power to the starter but the starter isnt engaging.

Nope. You nailed it. The ECM is locked up. It is a security issue. Had to have it taken to the dealer. They are the only ones that can fix it. Thanks
