2000 monte carlo ss abs/trac control quite a while ago , my mechanic scanned it found no power to module, ground is good , powewr to module also. he gave me the part # for the module, called chevy parts not part # have to remove module part # is etched on site, and hope i can find one, so far all searches come back to 3400 engine. Any ideas any help would be great, have to fix it soon my daughter is getting this car soon want all safety features

 

Spendy, but here's one on eBay: ACDelco 12214529 New ABS Module | eBay. According to the compatibility chart offered on this link, the part is the same for the LS (3400) Police Special as the SS.

Might be able able to find a used one in a junkyard. There is a service on eBay that offers service to rebuild existing for $45, but when I entered the specs for your '00 SS that service didn't come up.
