Are you asking for a adapter harness or complete dash radio one?
Adapter should be no more than $20 to adapt any radio to the GM harness.

I miss those days when they were that cheap. Due to all the integration the radios have with the cars now it isn't as cheap to do.

You will need to check and see if you have a factory amp under your rear deck. I will assume you know where the rear deck is. If you do you will need a GMOS-LAN-02 adapter. This will allow you to keep onstar and door chimes etc. This one runs about $150.

If you dont have the the factory amp then you will need a GMOS-LAN-01 adapter. It does the same thing allows you to keep onstar and door chimes etc. This kit is about $130.

I know you can get either of those adapters half off if you order your reciever that is atleast $129+ from crutchfield.

I never thought about all the new systems that were added.
I had a 07 Cobalt, no frills and it just used a $15 adapter, same for the kids 05 S10 Blazer.
I forgot the radios in these have functions beyond the just radio control.
That does suck!!!

Depends on if he has the factory amp or not. The amp is located under the rear deck. Just crouch down with your trunk open and it should be attached to the rear deck between the 2 rear deck speakers. Mine is silver in color kinda plain looking. According to crutchfield it is the 02 if he has the factory amp, and 01 if he does not.

Also steering wheel controls if you have those. Get exact part numbers and then check on amazon. You can find them for a fraction of the price.
