Will 06-08 Grand Prix seats fit in a 04 Monte? They look much nicer and more comfortable. I was thinking about swaping my seats for these if they fit.

 

They fit 100% but sit about an inch higher.

It was just done by someone and I have had a rear seat in my garage for 5 months now, looking for a nice front seat.

 

thx they look like 50% more cushion.

 

I wanna find someway to custom fit srt seats in mine thatll be badass, but the gp seats are alot better imo than stock

 

The grand prix seats are pretty comfy. Might make it a little tighter squeeze though since they sit a little taller. I'm sure with some modification you could get them to sit lower if they seemed too high?

 

My head almost touches roof with stock seats anyway to drop them a bit? Like an after market seat mount to lower the seat?

 

Unfortunately there probably isn't anything that will directly bolt in there to lower them.. It would probably require chopping up your current seat track and the new seats and finding a way to custom mount them lower.

If your head almost touches now, it most certainly will with those seats, unless you wanna lean way back, which I wouldn't recommend lol.

yes there is! and it makes the seat more comfortable and turns it into a bucket...


go underneath and unhook all the springs on the bottom cushion, i've been running this way for ~100,000 miles and it's amazing the difference in height after you wear in the bottom a bit.

 

Nice, might have to do this before I get mine on the road again.
