Whats in your trunk??

I have a rather interesting idea floating around the head here. Im thinking about putting 4 12s into the trunk of my 03 monte. Just curious if there is anyone else here that has more than the standard 2 in their trunk??

The setup will consist of 2 12s facing the trunk and 2 12s facing the cab of the vehicle. Im not doing this for competitions or crazy bass. Im doing it for uniqueness. I have been doing car audio for many years now and i have yet to see something like this in a monte(or similar type of vehicle) in my area. The closest i guess would have to be 6 15s built into a 199X buick regal.

I would like to see what kind of configurations others have come up with, if any.

Thanks in advance!

It will be unique but its not done due to performance reasons, specifically cancellation. I like ur idea of going big like that but hope u do it the right way. But if form is more important than function, do your thing!

The 6 12s look like garbage. As far as not functioning to their potential, the subs will not all be using the funk airspace. The 2 facing the cab of the car will be built like a wall towards inside the car, filling the hole that connects the trunk and bck seat, the others will look like ur standard trunk system. The subs will perform to their fullest potential. But again nothing crazy. I'm using all Orion cobalt equipment.

agreed that the 6 12s look like crap most of the people on here have like 1 or 2 10s,12s,15s on here. so it would be great to see what your final box looks like

There is no need what so ever for sarcasm! U feel it won't work. I happen to disagree. Thas life. U r not the all knowing god of car audio. I've been doing car audio long enough to trust my training and experience. The subwoofers will not interfere with eachother in any way shape or form! I do have a clue as to what I'm doing. Thanks for your negative incite. No need to comment again.

I wish you nothing but the best on this build! Can't wait to see it up and running. Hopefully it meets the goals you have for it. Make sure you do up a nice video when it's all said and done. Any timeframe as far as completion date yet?
