Default Volt Meter

I think my volt meter is wrong in my car but I am actually not sure how to read it since it only has an 8 at the beginning and a 18 at the end. If someone could help me with this, it would be much helped.

It should sit around the 2nd mark after the middle. That is roughly 14v, here's a picture with my scangauge showing both readings.

When mine's cold its right around mikes, maybe a little higher. After driving for a while and it warms up its a little lower.
