For those of you into SQ...
I want to know where yall are at, first of all. Are there even many of you here? This thread is pointless if not.
Second of all, I want to start a thread with our all-time favorite songs to listen to in our cars. Songs that are especially particular for certain drivers. IE songs that really bring out the 1-8k range, the 8k+ range; songs that kick some serious midbass; songs that will bring out the best in your subs; so on so forth. Any kind of music. If it stands out to you, share it! I'm always looking for something to test each of my drivers. For example, For midbass/snare, AC/DC's Highway to Hell (remastered); You Shook Me All Night Long; Rammstein's Sonne (Live); Airbourne's Blonde, Bad and Beautiful; Dream Theater's The Dark Eternal Night; Megadeth's Trust. For sub bass, Linkin Park's When They Come for Me; Metallica's Blackened; Rammstein's Sonne (Live), Megadeth's Trust; Eye of the Tiger (Club Remix 2009) by Fast Foot (it's on youtube). Probably the best for hard-hitting, extremely low bass that I've heard yet; If you listen to it on anything other than something with a subwoofer in a small space, you will never hear the justice the bass does this song. Do it. I have yet to find many songs that are particularly good for the higher range. But the ones mentioned above are definitely worth trying in your own car, especially if you're easily ticked off by rattles. Cause you'll find em. All of them. Hopefully this thread doesn't fail due to lack of SQ interest here... |
If you want hard hitting bass, there's a song by Chicago rap artist Quarta Oz called Headz Up, I remember that used to bump hard. There's also a break in Cypress Hill's Insane in the Brain & the beginning of Korn's Falling Away From Me that sneak up on ya.
