The fronts are definitely not 6 3/4", I've never even seen or heard of a 6 3/4" speaker for a car. When I replaced the door speakers I had to cut away material from the speaker mounting bracket in order for it to fit. I used 6 1/2" speakers. The stock speakers measured slightly under 6 1/4" so I can't tell you what size they really are but I know that I had to make some modifications to get my 6.5's to fit. But yeah, 6x9's out back.

1.) Start a new thread rather than tacking it onto a 13 year old one. Many people read the first couple posts and respond and don't even get down to the bottom posts to realize someone is asking another question.

2.) Look at the package and give us the listed nominal size or the part number. (6.5", 5.25", etc).

3.) Let us know what issue you're having installing. Is it because of a diameter mismatch, is it because you bought an oval speaker instead of a round, is it because you don't know how to connect the stock wire harness to the new speaker?

Without that key info, we've got no way to help you. You could be trying to install a 15" for all we know with the limited info provided.

Well, that's a start.

You still didn't provide any detail about the exact issue you're having, so no one can provide any useful advice.

Just as a general rule, I'd say 6.5s are usually too big to perfectly drop into a 6th gen. Of course brand to brand varies a good bit, but 6.5s can take a bit of work to get them in.

Well I took the old speakers out already of my car. And I'm having problems getting the new one to mount cause they are shape different then the others. And the new speakers want mount right. So how do I go about getting them to fit and what do I need to do.
