Sound getting quieter/speaker recommedation
 

Ok for some reason my sound level seems to be getting quieter and quieter. I believe the factory amp is taking a dive going to check that tomorrow, but I was wondering if my Pioneer deck has more power cleaner sound than the factory amp can produce. I know looking at the schematic how to bypass it, but seems I will loose the tweeter in the door in the process. I was wondering if anyone knew if the highpass filter for the tweeter in the doors was in the amp (would be my guess since it has dedicated channels for them) or on the tweeters themselves. This is just a stop gap measure as I intend to swap out the speakers with a good 6 1/2 component set up front and I am guessing 6x9 in the rear deck. Also does anyone have a good recommendation on a component set for up front and whatever in the back. I am looking at probably around $100 for each set for budget. Was looking at the Alpine SPS-610c for the front and the SPS-619 in the rear deck. All would be powered just with headunit power probably for the foreseeable future. Any thoughts or ideas?

I like these Rockford Fosgate speakers, really clear and take a fair amount of power. I have these in my door and the 6x9's at the deck.

I am a JL audio kinda guy but with them you won't be at your price range and they also need external amp power.

I already have one amp (Kicker ZX) that dims the headlights enough if I turn it up at night. From what I understand I need to upgrade the ground and positive wire size in the car to help with that issue?

So it also appears that the factory 6x9's are 2ohm so I won't be bypassing the amp until I get new speakers it seems.

Also I was wondering most places call for a GMOS-04 (I am assuming it has a line level converter) for my car because of the factory amp, but it seems that my radio is installed with a GMOS-01 that is for no factory amp? I know this has worked fine for years, and has only recently become an issue, but could this be part of the problem? And since I am using the GMOS-01 could I not just bypass the factory amp when I replace my speakers and reuse the factory wiring?
