Default Seat upholstery.

In pics you can see what the drivers seat was like when I bought the Monte. Took the old seats apart, had the upholster replace the bad panels using red stitching. Reused the seat backs which were in good shape. The SS logo was embroidered in. Upholster also sewed the old seat heaters back in and they both still work! With a little new padding to bolster the old stuff it all went back together. Supplying labor if you can sure helps cut the cost. I think it turned out well enough for a daily driver.

Default Thanks guys.

Yeah $950 is about the same as the quotes I got. Seems to be the going rate. I had a retired guy who was an upholster for 40yrs do it. He had the equipment in his garage at home. With a little labor assistance it ended up about half price. Unfortunately he started some heavy duty medical treatments and won't be doing any cars for a bit. Now I'm hoping to do something with the center console that is peeling around the cup holders and tray. Find a good junkyard one would be nice, other option would be sand, wash, wash, fill, sand, primer, sand, paint......... sounds like too much work, ha ha.
