Running a power wire from battery to amp
Hi I have a 2007 Monte Carlo SS and I wanted to know if there is a per-existing hole in the firewall I can run my 8 gauge cable throught without drilling a new hole in the firewall. Can anyone help me?

Dead center of your firewall, there is a grommet that works perfectly for passing wire through. To get the best angle on it, I recommend removing your rear coil bracket with the coils still attached to it. Good luck!

Do you know where the wire will come out in the car? Also will putting the power wire so close to the radio interfer with the signal?

Peel back the carpeting under the passenger side dash. You will see a square gromment. There will be a wire bundle running thru it already. Run your power cable alongside that wire bundle (it's going to take a little effort but it will go thru) and fish it up and out from the engine side.

x2 on the square grommet. I've got 4 gauge wire and have had no problems with leaks and it's completely out of site.

this one work hopefully?
