Default Ratchet shifter mod

Hi guys so I recently ordered a B&M quicksilver 4 speed ratchet shifter from a local parts store. Ive seen a video on youtube of guy who put one in a bonneville. I have an idea on how to do it but if anyone has done it on a 6th gen monte, any info you have would be helpfull. I think I might even do a walkthrough on it.

I did the cheap way, left the factory shifter and had a B&M shifter handle modded to fit. Was actually a fair amount of work just to get that done.

Would be cool to see if you can make another type of shifter work. I looked all over and could not find anything compatible, so just did the handle.

If you can pull this off that will be sweet. Will love to see how BA it will look and more importantly perform. Might have to play catch up with you if you make this come together. Always looking for a new mod. Lisa might be on your backside as it appears she has a shifter mod in mind too!! lets get this ball a rolling...

Just to add...I know of a few guys that have installed a, "ratchet shifter" into their WBody. I recall that a different cable (different from what comes with the ****ter) needs to purchased.
These were track cars so there wasn't a console to contend with.
