As for the deck install kit, I ordered it from www.humount.com a while ago. They still make them and can even customize them for you too. They're a little pricey in comparison to your regular deck install kits but IMO it's worth every penny!
Thank you! It's my favorite part of my system!
I have to say, that's a very impressive write-up and install. I'm not huge on systems, but this is really cool... I especially love this:

Out of curiosity, and you may have already mentioned it, but did you buy that some where, or make it? And if you bought it, where from and how much?

I got the deck install kit from www.humount.com for $70
You have a lot of stuff hanging from your keychain. That can cause a problem with weight and your master lock cylinder. I would look into lightening that up a little, or getting a quick disconnect keychain where you can just disconnect the car keys while you drive but keep it all together as you walk around.
Also, awesome work and a great great looking system you have there

Having a battery that has dual terminals was a requirement for me as I didn't want to deal with hacking off the oem terminal boots and overloading the top terminals with a bunch of stuff, so the side posts are for the stock connections, top terminals are for any add-on's

This is exactly why when I do a project I document it like I do, not to get the recognition but to be looked at as a source of information for those who plan on doing the same but maybe don't feel comfortable for fear of the unknown. I know I wish there was something like this available to me when I decided to do this project...even though I've been putting in my stereo systems since I was a Jr. in high school, I still get intimidated at times and am a little hesitant so I can imagine how someone feels who doesn't have the experience under their belt.
LOL. You love my detailing pics don't ya?! I haven't done any lately but I need to do mine, and have one on a Dodge Durango coming up soon so we'll see how it works out. I know on my car it's tough to pickup the swirls since my car is white, the swirls usually get whitewashed in pics since direct light is involved, but I'll see what I can do.
Thank you. I really wanna do a custom trim panel so it looks like my subs are behind a wall instead of just a box thrown on the back of my trunk....stay tuned!
