I bought a 2kMC (2000 monte carlo ss) and found out the previous owner chopped the stock wiring harness to install an aftermarket cd player. Now im having problems getting things working. I had to go to a junkyard to get the wiring harness, but have a couple problems. It has 2 connectors coming out of the cd player, i have the bigger connector all wired up, but the small connector i got is diff colors than the stock harness'. There are 3 wires left over: Pink, Purple, and blue. Now my queston is, are those wires supposed to be plugged into the big connector, or are they to the small connector? This may be confusing so if you have questions just ask, ill do my best to re-explain it. Thanks!

 

the smaller conector has a couple wires, 3. i dk how many, i was thinking it was more like 2, depending on the fetures of the deck, mine doesnt have onstar, it had 2 wires i think in the 2nd harness. that harness is for your chime system i think.
