Hey everyone, so i was looking around on google and came across some info that said the 2006-2007 Monte Carlo SS had a couple sound options and the premium system was a bose system. How would I know if I had the bose system in my car? I know on some cars it will say it on the speaker grill. But this is my first Monte so I'm not sure how they do it. I'm looking at maybe getting a new sound system here pretty soon but if I have a bose system, I may stick with that and just get a sub.

 

From what has come up in the past, Bose was not the brand put into the '06-'07 premium systems (for Monte Carlos, the same year Impalas did get Bose). Do you have the 6 CD changer? That would be a good indication of the premium system.

I have a Bose system in a Camaro and Envoy and they have Bose written on the Faceplate of dash unit.
