1995 Z34---i need a "first design" switch for my driver's side window. can't find anything but 2nd design. OR...i need to know the best way to take the switch apart to clean the contacts. i can't figure out how to take it apart w/o breaking something. (1995 Z34

So can you describe the difference? Sometimes you can just clean the plugs on the outside and that may help.
The other thing that you may want to check into, maybe you have a U Pull It salvage yard nearby that might have something you can use.
When I repurposed the interior in my Monte the back seat came from a 95 I put it into the 99 I had to change the parts on the back of the seat to make it work.

there are 7 gold-colored posts inside the switch, in 2 rows. with a space for an 8th post. with my switch, the empty space is at the END of one row. with the 2nd design switch, the empty space is inside one of the rows.

do u know where i can find a wiring diagram for that switch?

and i've checked with junkyards here--they have nothing. can u tell me the BEST way to take that switch apart w/o breaking anything?

and there are NO plugs on the outside.

I have a service manual for the 99 I will look in that once and see if I can find something?
