I own an AVIC-Z110BT and it fits just fine! Well, at least I had no issues installing it. I used a kit from Scosse(sic) and tweaked it a bit.

could you get some pictures, if possibly of the install its self. if not, just what it looks like finished.

and what kind of "tweaks" did you do? just mounted it further back?

eviling, i think the most problem that people have with installs, and i did also, is it fitting in the depth space that is given. with my current dash, Kenwood KDC-MP638U, i had to cut some of the plastic out in the rear of where the dash goes.

Other than that, all double din and single din receivers should fit fine in the provided space as far as i know.

its all inside the dash, you wont see it when installed. what your cutting is directly behind the headunit.

just make sure if you do this that you vacuum it good because little plastic pieces will be all over

I found an image of a z120bt installed in a monte, looks like it fits better than it was explained to me.

i'm not sure if it is deeper but i'm saying thats the main problem ran into when installing a new headunit.

And yeah, with the right mounting kit, most headunits fit good and look great in our dashes
